Calculator inputs
Energy figures, appliance names, purchase prices and budgets are processed in your browser. The calculator code does not upload those inputs to a server or put them in page URLs. Don’t enter personal information as an appliance name.
Working draft and optional saved budget
Session storage keeps your working inputs available as you move between the three tools in the same browser session. A budget is saved in local storage only when you choose “Save on this device.” That saved copy remains until you delete it or clear this site’s browser data. Later edits are not automatically written to that saved copy; choose Save again to update it.
“Delete saved copy” removes the persistent budget while retaining the current session draft. “Clear working budget” clears the current appliance list. Downloaded JSON files are under your control and are not removed when browser data is cleared. Anyone who can access your browser profile or downloaded files may be able to read them.
Essential hosting data
Requests to serve the website may produce server and security logs, including IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and browser information. These are distinct from the calculator’s browser-only inputs. Contabo hosts the site. Cloudflare provides DNS, delivery and security services. These providers may process request data to deliver and protect the site. We do not claim that visiting a website produces no data.
Analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and advertising scripts are not active in this version. If enabled, this notice will identify the services and explain the relevant choices before those scripts are loaded. A consent preference may be stored on this device to remember your choice.
Contact messages
If you use a published contact channel, your email address and the message contents are used to respond and investigate the issue. Avoid sending personal billing information. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards mail sent to our public address to our support inbox. Brevo is configured for sending email from our domain. Those services may process contact messages and delivery information.
Your choices
You can use the calculators without saving a budget. You can delete the saved copy, clear calculator data here or remove all site data through browser settings. Blocking browser storage may prevent draft transfer and local saving, but no account is required.
